Bosnian Vice-President Ejup Ganic confirmed at a large pre-election rally in the northern Bosnian town of Tuzla on Saturday (7/9) that the ruling Party of Democratic Action (SDA) would not boycott the election scheduled for next Saturday (14/9).

So here we are trying to introduce a Western-type democracy where you go in front, tell your story, make the promises and have a calendar on how to fulfill those promises.";

provide democracy for their kids...they deserve it. We are alone, we are a small nation....we have to work with east and west, the majority of us are Muslims , but we are European...we have to work with left, right and centre..";
Bosnian Prime Minister, Hasan Muratovic SOT in English : "Everyone thought we spoke of postponement of election because we were afraid of the results. As you can see here we are going to absoulutely win...We are afraid of the post election...that all the participants will not recognise the results only to cause problems for the implementation of the Dayton agreement.";
