In this video I go over how to use GPT-3 + Unreal Engine and Socket.io to build a real-time chatbot. We'll start by introducing GPT-3, the powerful language processing AI developed by OpenAI, and how it can be used in game development. Then, we'll dive into Unreal Engine and demonstrate how to pass text data between Unreal Engine and python using Socket.IO. We are using UE 4.27 and and existing AWS Polly UE example which has been heavily modified. Google Speech to text api calls are currently used in this example but future work will include AWS real-time speech to text apis.
