Nikon D7000 review part 2 -- photography magazine editor Adam puts some of the D7000's features through their paces.
Active D Lighting is a clever bit of trickery which should average out the tonal range between bright highlights and dark shadows. With the harsh overhead lighting of a car showroom it should prove to be a challenge.
The D7000 has twin SD card slots which allows you to shoot Jpegs on one and raws on another; duplicate on both so you have backup or simply as extra capacity which can be very useful if you're shooting video which burns up space like crazy.
The clever auto focus also has up to ten person face detection which can quickly detect and focus on faces -- even Mike prancing about can't stop it!
This camera is built to be used and to a certain extent can be abused.
