The Warwick Economics Summit was delighted to welcome Michela Bedard to our WES Perspectives series.
Michela has been Executive Director of PERIOD. since early 2020, bringing two decades of experience in program management, fundraising and advocacy within non-profit, corporate, political and civic organizations. Michela is actively involved in various community-based organizations throughout the United States. She works to produce strategic partnerships and networks to strengthen movements fighting systemic gender inequality.
In addition to her work with PERIOD., Michela currently serves as Chair of the Board of Rahab’s Sisters, a Portland non-profit serving marginalized women or those whose gender makes them vulnerable. She also serves on the Governing Board of the Episcopal Bishop of Oregon Foundation, the Oregon Alliance for Gun Safety, and on committees within public school districts.
Michela holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.
The Warwick Economics Summit (WES) is Europe's largest student-run Economics summit society. Our next edition will be WES2023 from 10th-12th February 2023.
