The author, Krzysztof Jaxa-Kwiatkowski, made a lonely walking pilgrimage, along the Camino de Santiago Way - the Way of Saint James, from his home in Krakow, Poland, to the door of the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela in Spain, and further to Cabo Fisterra (the medieval, symbolic End of the Earth), in the traditional Christian door-to-door form, covering 3,469 kilometers.
The documentary "Pray. And go to the ends of the earth ” is a retrospective and reflective story from a four-month lonely walking journey through six European countries.
This documentary is the editing result of short videos and photos from the journey, provided with the author's narration.
The film focuses mainly on self-discovery, personal search for hope and a deeper relationship with God, as well as the pilgrimage aspect of loneliness that can strengthen this bond. It also mentions Angels and demons, whose presence every Pilgrim will, sooner or later, sense within and without, i.e. both in their souls and in the outside reality.
This documentary also tells the viewers about the meaning of inner exploration and traveling on The Way through the author's experience of everyday life, his adventures and people encountered on the trail.
The film is not only the author's testimony. Its purpose is to inspire other Pilgrims to embark on their journey along the Way of St. James and to introduce spiritual/religious practice into their everyday lives.
The picture is accompanied by great music "Boże Granie" by the Uwierz Miłości Foundation.
