It was so fun to work with interior stylist Romina Puckett again. I had an empty console table and she went to work finding trays, bowls, books and a lot of family memories to create something both pretty and uniquely personal.
Here are some things to consider when styling your own console table:
Method
• Everything should have functionality - for me the console table is near the sofa so we filled the space beneath with a basket, pillow and throws
• Trays, bowls and various dishes help to divide the space into sections
• Adding a flower or foliage arrangement enriches any moment
• Add handy bowls to keep family memories like shells from the beach, or a place to dump your accessories
• Make a space for books that inspire you. It’s nice to have them in reach when you need them plus just seeing them stacked can be uplifting
Benefits
I love that Romina helped me think of my console table as a handy place to keep family photos and inspiration on hand but also as a keep things that don’t always have a ‘home’ - like sea shells and jewelry.
