UNICEF representative Meritxell Relano told FRANCE 24 that “we have more than 12,600 people that have sought refuge in the Central African Republic” as she described the worsening situation in Sudan.

Tens of thousands of people have fled the east african country to escape continuous fighting between rival forces despite a renewed truce.
