Our Public Works Operations Division is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the city’s water distribution, sewer collection, stormwater, and street lighting systems.
Miami Beach has more than 7,800 stormwater structures that our team members take care of.
Their work to regularly clean our stormwater drains, catch basins and pump stations is a crucial part of protecting Biscayne Bay from pollution and mitigating the effects of flooding during the rainy season.
