Atlanta rapper Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams, and many of his associates faced multiple charges under Georgia's RICO Act. Williams, believed to be the leader of the YSL collective, pleaded guilty and nolo to multiple charges on October 31 before going home on time served. Many of Thug's other co-defendants took plea deals. However, Shannon Stillwell and Deamonte Kendrick have not taken a plea deal and will continue in the RICO trial. Both face racketeering conspiracy charges alleging they participated in criminal street gang activity, along with drug and gun violations.
