The Building Icons series showcases iconic projects across the world which are built to last with Aggregate Industries and Holcim products inside starting with Wood Wharf in London, a new mixed use neighbourhood at the heart of Canary Wharf.
We worked with the Canary Wharf Group to create several of its towers at Wood Wharf with low carbon and circular solutions at its heart. We produced innovative ECOPact concrete mixes for its construction which included recycled aggregate from a demolished concrete marine deck on site which was reused to create new concrete with the recycled materials inside.
