In the video you can listen to Minuet in g major BWV Ahn 114 by Christian Petzold, performed by Luca Raggi on hauptwerk system, sample set of harpsichord Mietke.
This minuet, as well as many other pieces, belongs to the famous "notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach" the German composer presented to his second wife Anna Magdalena.
This "booklet" includes minuets, polonaises, chorales, sonatas, preludes, marches, musette, gavotte and some Arias for soprano voice.
The manuscripts of this "notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach" are actually two, the first written in 1722 in Köthen, the second in 1725 in Leipzig.
The main difference between the two is that in the first one there are only compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, while in the second there are also works by other composers.
The Minuet of this video was composed by Christian Petzold, german composer and organist, born in 1677 and died in 1733.
I wish you all a happy listening!
