We added a greenhouse to our test garden last year and were able to extend our short, Zone 4 growing season all the way to December!
Although we're now in snow season — with the greenhouse heater, we still have plants growing. Herbs we dug up from the summer garden — pea shoots, lettuce, arugula, microgreens, and a Norfolk Island pine! With very cold temps coming, we'll need to shut it down for a couple of months, but we're looking forward to getting an early start in spring.
