In an interactive session with former US ambassador Nicolas Burns of Harvard Kennedy School, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi questioned the silence of the United States on the happenings in India with regards to democracy and democratic institutions. The statement is being seen by some as Rahul Gandhi imploring the US to speak out on India's internal affairs. Rahul's remarks came during conversation on defending the idea of democracy against the vision of China and Russia.
