The New Year's party on Copacabana Beach is one of the most traditional New Year's Eve parties in the world and the most traditional in Brazil.
Millions of cariocas and tourists gathered along all 4km of Copacabana Beach to celebrate the turn of the new year.
Several concert stages were set up all over the beach, offering the public different simultaneous attractions.
