Skip Elsheimer is raising funds to digitize 100 miles of 16mm films from the A/V Geeks archive and make them freely available so they can be can be watched, researched and repurposed for creative projects. This project allows the A/V Geeks to dedicate the time, equipment and resources needed to catalog, prep, digitize, and upload the films from their unique and vast archive.

A/V Geeks' Skip Elsheimer has rescued more than 24,000 16mm educational films from landfills, dumpsters, basements and school libraries. He spent most of the nineties collecting film from school and government auctions. Skip shows the films "every chance I get and have planned various projects, to exploit their hidden celluloid riches.
