Pandan nasi lemak ingredients
2 cups rice (wash, rinse and drain the rice)
2 cups water
1 cup pandan water (2 pieces of pandan leaf blended with 1 cup of water and strained or add 2 pieces of pandan leaf to rice cooker)
1 cup coconut milk
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
Sambal ingredients
• 500g cleaned and peeled prawns
• 1/2 an onion sliced
• Petai (stinky bean/bitter bean)
• 1tsp tamarind paste
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 4 tbsp oil
Blended ingredients
• 1cup dry chilies cut into smaller pieces
• 1/2 onion peeled and coarsely chopped
• 5 fresh red chilies, seeded and chopped
• 1/2 cup water
Pounded ingredients
• 4 cloves of garlic (pounded with belacan)
• 2 tsp toasted shrimp paste (Belacan)
