I forgot to mention this things MAW system in the video (that's how useful it is), it warns you of approaching IR missiles but It's less useful than you'd think in the current fox-3 meta. You have to anticipate 9M launches anyway and the system doesn't have 3D coverage around the plane so its not 100% reliable.
Is it nice to have? Sure.. does it give the plane any significant advantage over its contemporaries? Absolutely not unless you're being fired upon by something without IRCCM.
