On September 18, 2024, after a lunch break at the Rockhill Trolley Museum, the track crew volunteers of the Friends of the East Broad Top (along with some professionals) take a ride back to the "End of Track" from Rockhill Furnace, PA south/east towards Pogue. This is mid-week of a week-long work session. Our train was being pushed by the M-4, a two-axle 12 ton Plymouth diesel-mechanical locomotive.
At the end of the video, in the distance can be seen the tie truck, which was the true end-of-track as of that moment. Another 150 feet or so was added in the afternoon on the march to Pogue trestle, the next large obstacle.
If you like this video, please give a thought to donating to the Friends of the East Broad Top, or better yet join and help volunteer - either way it's a great cause!!
