There were six gold medals on offer on Day 2 of the 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships, and the athletes did not disappoint.
DeAnna Price became the first American woman to win a World Championships throwing event, while Tajay Gayle leapt into the record books as the first Jamaican to win a men's field event. Christian Coleman was crowned as the fastest man on the planet with a blistering 9.76s run in the men's 100m final.
Over a longer distance, Dutchwoman Sifan Hassan claimed 10,000m gold with a world-leading 30:17.62 in just her second competitive race over that distance.
However, 10,000m paled in comparison to the last two events of the day - the 50km race walks. Yusuke Suzuki and Liang Rui claimed the gold medals in the longest event the IAAF has to offer.
Enjoy the highlights from the second day of the 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar.
