People have said (me included) that an issue with the new Sage (Breville) Barista Express Impress, is that you can't remove the portafilter after dosing, to distribute and/or to tamp manually if you so wish. Here's a very simple hack - just get the new dosing funnel from Sage/Breville, and unscrew the splitter. Done.
