Yesterday on Wednesday 11th May, I travelled on the 1645 LNER service from Leeds to London King's Cross which was thankfully an Intercity 225. Calling points were: Wakefield Westgate, Doncaster, Peterborough and London King's Cross. I also gave LNER's "Let's Eat at your seat" service (only offered to standard class passengers) a try. The train also had unreserved seating due to some other trains being cancelled as a result of vandalism in the St Neots area earlier on in the day.
