Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Dec. 24, 2024: Cloudy skies will stick around through your Christmas holiday. Areas of drizzle will be likely through the overnight. Temperatures will be near the freezing mark. Low clouds tonight could generate some freezing drizzle. Take it slow on bridges and overpasses, especially outside of the metro. Although impacts to travel will be limited.
For Christmas Day, most of us will remain in the 30s with mostly cloudy skies. Not a white Christmas but seasonal.
Conditions will be mainly quiet Wednesday and Thursday. Overall, we will experience a warming trend to close out 2024. The unseasonal warmth will be coming with rain chances as early as Friday evening.
Rounds of showers will be moving through all weekend. Be prepared for damp conditions if you plan to hit the roads. Our next bout of cold and possible snow looks to return around New Year's. We will keep you posted.
