Main tanks need must to be at the first.
Support tank would help main tank to provide extra healing, shields, or taunt effect to lower main tanks' pressure.

Offtanks are the ones who afford the damage at rear to deal with the backline-attacking mobs.

Supports are the one who could charge tp, or speed up the team, or provide extra effects to others.

Healers heal.
Attackers are dealing main damage in the team.
Attack Supporters are debuffers.

The roles are based on characters' skills and status. It doesn't mean they could only do limited works (especially for offtanks, you could use anyone who will not die at that spot if it works)

Your formation should depend on your opponents' traits. For instance, when your 3rd position was under attack, you need someone to be the offtank there.

Main tanks need to rank up in priority.
You can't change characters' positions because there's a hidden attribute called distance there.
