Most people are averse to investing in section-8 housing as a creative financing solution for their real estate investments, usually because of stereotypes surrounding low-income tenants. While it’s true that there are risks related to that, there are some major upsides! ⚖
The big benefit is that the government will subsidize their payments (sometimes up to 100% depending on what they qualify for), and that means a consistent return for the investor who is providing that home. This is a mutually beneficial relationship where everybody wins! The tenant gets safe and clean housing while you get a protected return on your investment 🤝 now that’s a good deal!
