After serving a lengthy prison sentence, Tommy Vercetti is back in Liberty City, and he is sent to Vice City by his boss, Sonny Forelli. Not all goes smoothly upon his arrival in the sunwashed metropolis of Vice City. He's set up and left with no money and merchandise. Tommy begins a journey to get his old boss's money back and also fight back against the drug barons and corrupt politicians standing in his way to take over the city himself.
