This is a free training resource for the education sector to provide their statutory duty to update and provide safeguarding refresher training to staff.

This is intended to assist Designated Safeguarding Leads to facilitate a training session. This has been compiled by Bristol's Safeguarding in Education Team to assist with this task.

Training: It is recommended you protect 2.5 hours for the session to allow for discussion and breaks. Make sure you listen out for the prompts to pause for discussions and keep an eye on the clock.
