If you have a Bosch ebike, or any other ebike that doesn’t let you use any battery you bluddy like, then this is a comprehensive video on the safest way to connect two batteries in parallel.( voltage compatibility of the two batteries is a given)
On my bosch ebike I have a 500wh powertube, to which I connect a 1kwh battery for range up to 150km in turbo with the speedbox on, all on one charge (1,5kwh for both batteries) in real life conditions.
Freedom at last.
Hope you enjoy your rides.
Schottky diode model number: MBR60200PT
I have done more than 1000km by now with the two batteries, and I must have charged both of them less than 10 times.
Also I apologize for the errors about the +/- signs.
You can only connect the diode a certain way, it allows conventional current to pass where it’s pointing, so that’s always from positive to negative.
