This short video clip was compiled from photos taken with a wireless web camera every one to two days between 21 April and 17 June 2012. The study lake in this series of images is TOO-003 or Toolik Lake located at Toolik Field Station. Complete ice off occurred between the evening of 16 June and the morning of 17 June, which is roughly the average ice-off date for Toolik over the last decade. This is part of the Circum-Arctic Lakes Observation Network (CALON) project that is being supported by the NSF AON program. For more information on the CALON project visit: [ Ссылка ].
