Surf ’n’ Turf Tacos Recipe
Carnitas
Preheat oven to 225°F (use Remote Start via Home Connect™)
Cube ~4lb pork shoulder
Season with 1 tbsp cumin, 1 tbsp oregano, 3-4 tsp salt, and 1 tsp pepper
Top with 1 large onion (chopped), 8 cloves garlic, 1 jalapeno (sliced), and juice of 2 blood oranges.
Finish with 1/2 cup duck fat
Roast for 4 hours
Increase oven to 550°F
Pull apart pork
Crisp up at 550°F for 5 mins

Tortillas
Mix 2 cups masa harina with 1 1/2 cups of water and a pinch of salt
Set a dry pan to medium high
Roll dough ball, press in tortilla press, toast in dry pan

Shrimp
Season 1lb shrimp with 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp Cumin, 1 tbsp Paprika
Sautee on medium high for 5 mins

Crema
Mix 1 cup crema, juice of 1 lime, 2 tbsp cilantro
