On receiving your shiny new ProQ BBQ smoker in the box, you will find these components:
- Lid – Comes with a sturdy handle, temperature gauge & built-in hanging bar
- Grills – 2 Stainless steel grills. Rust and stain resistant
- Meat Hooks – 5 hooks included for use with the hanging bar
- Stackers – 2 Stackers with side handles, doors & probe holes
- Waterpan – Used for indirect cooking, the waterpan stabilises the smoker temperature
- Charcoal basket – Sturdy basket with built-in ProQ Flip’n Grate mounting bracket
- Base - Complete with 3 vents for accurate temperature control
- Legs – 3 Sturdy aluminium legs, plus brackets to attach to the base
A durable porcelain coated lid complete with sturdy fitted handle, 1 adjustable air vent with cool-touch silicone tabs and a temperature gauge. Inside the lid you will find a pre-fitted hanging bar & 5 stainless steel meat hooks which you can use for smoking things like fish, ribs or duck.
Next you will find 2 heavy-duty stainless-steel grills, which are easy to clean & dishwasher safe.
2 heavy-duty durable porcelain coated stackers come next. These come with pre drilled silicone fitted probe eyelets and 2 toggle latches which are used for keeping your BBQ smoker clipped together when you need to move it around. A ProQ branded aluminium door with a cool touch silicone handle is situated at the front of your stacker. This is for when you need to either top up the water in your water pan or on the lower stacker for checking your fuel or adding wood for that extra added flavour in your food.
Next you will find your porcelain coated water pan, this is your secret weapon. The water pan sits above the coals and stabilises the BBQ Smoker temperature making it perfect for ‘low'n slow’ authentic BBQ cooking. It is designed to be used when roasting and smoking using indirect heat. It can also be used as a wok or a paella pan, for a few new ideas you could try making and cooking a curry, meatballs or even spaghetti bolognese in your water pan, why not even try making a cake?
You will then find the charcoal basket is made from heavy gauge steel and provides excellent ventilation by keeping the ideal space between the sides of the smoker unit and the lit embers & coals. The Version 4.0 charcoal baskets are also compatible with the ProQ Flip'n Grate Swivel Grills.
Last but by no means least you will find your base complete with 3 air vents and covers with cool touch tabs, toggle latches for stability and 3 sturdy aluminium legs which are easily attached - all you will need is a screwdriver. Like the rest of your BBQ smoker the base is also porcelain coated and if looked after correctly will last you for years to come.
