美 CBS 이어 NBC 간판 앵커도 성추문으로 해고
NBC News has fired popular "Today" co-show host Matt Lauer after a colleague accused him of inappropriate sexual behavior.
The network made the announcement on Wednesday, saying it received the complaint two days before, which detailed claims of inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.
NBC added that it believes this may not have been an isolated incident.
Lauer's agent did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Meanwhile just hours after the NBC announcement, U.S. radio host Garrison Keillor said he had been fired by Minnesota Public Radio after a female colleague accused him of inappropriate behavior.
He told The Associated Press he just put his hand on her bare back in an attempt to console her.
They are the latest public figures to be embroiled in allegations of sexual misconduct that have recently struck down high-profile men in entertainment, politics and media.
