In this weeks episode I head out to try and find and identify a specific bald eagle that’s been outsmarting me for months. I always seem to spook it before I even know it’s there. This time I came up with a plan to try and get a glimpse of it from across a lake, a quarter of a mile away. The hope is to use my Nikon Z8 with the Nikon 180-600 lens and a 1.4 teleconverter! Although the video quality isn’t the greatest I was able to get a good look at the bird. It had some pretty distinctive markings on its head show ping that it hasn’t reached its full adult plumage. That puts it at around 4 years of age. Anyway, my camera set up proved to be a useful tool with its ultra long video capabilities. Thanks for watching!
