Covid-19 vaccines are now being administered across the country by the NHS to people most at risk. The NHS is contacting people for vaccination as they become eligible. This video walks you through the different steps you will experience when you attend your vaccination appointment.
Local GP Dr Taiwo Akinseye from Whitechapel Health explains why everyone should take the Covid-19 vaccine, including residents from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.
The Covid-19 vaccine is safe and effective. The vaccine does not contain any animal products or egg. It is halal, kosher, and vegan-friendly. When you are offered the vaccination, please take up the offer to protect yourself and others from Covid-19. We all have a duty to keep Tower Hamlets safe.
