This lens looks perfectly at home sitting amongst it's GMaster siblings, but Sony only deigned to give it a "G" moniker. Does that belie it's true performance?

Vetting a lens for astrophotography can be a bit of a pain, as most reviews don't dive deep into lens performance when used on the night sky.
