This video presents TIMSS 2019 results on the home, school, and classroom contexts for teaching and learning mathematics and science. These data are presented in relation to mathematics and science achievement to provide insights about the home, school, and classroom contexts that support learning.
IEA's TIMSS (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) is the world's longest-running global assessment of student achievement in mathematics and science. Conducted every four years since 1995, TIMSS provides education policymakers and researchers with essential data for evidence-based decision making. TIMSS is a project of IEA and is directed by the TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center at Boston College
