During a recent trip to Dover in England, I visited one of the world's greatest castles one day, then the following a rather forgotten fort. Now in this video, we look at Castle's and Forts and what is their difference? They are words that usually get muddled up or are considered to be the same thing, however they are fundamentally different.
In this video, we show you some of England's best castles and forts, for example: Dover Castle, Warwick Castle, Scarborough Castle, Kenilworth Castle. We also show you around Nothe Fort and Western Heights. We look at the similarities between castles and forts such as their primary need for defence or protection, but also point out the massive differences about them. For example, don't expect to see grand paintings, great halls or expensive furniture in a fort.
So join us today, as we debate the difference between Castles and Forts.
