STORYLINE
Up to one thousand people took part in a protest march on Friday through the streets of Lukavica, a predominantly Serb suburb of Sarajevo, to voice their anger against the arrest of Bosnian Serb war crimes suspect General Ratko Mladic.
Waving Serbian flags, protesters chanted slogans including "Save Serbia and kill yourself Boris," a reference to Serbian President Boris Tadic whom they blame for "betraying" Mladic.
Mladic was arrested on Thursday in the tiny northern Serbian village of Lazarevo, after 16 years on the run from international justice.
He is accused, along with Radovan Karadzic, of orchestrating Serb atrocities during a brutal campaign of ethnic cleansing between 1992-95, including the deadly siege of Sarajevo and culminating in the genocide at Srebrenica which saw eight-thousand Muslim men and boys being slaughtered.
A Belgrade court ruled on Friday that Mladic can be extradited to a UN tribunal on war crimes charges, despite defence claims he is too sick to face trial.
A defence lawyer said Mladic would appeal against the decision on Monday.
