The Royal College of Art, in collaboration with Design for Good, is launching a free, public Masterclass webinar series as part of an exciting new initiative: the RCA x Design for Good Academy.
Masterclass number two of three is hosted by Don Norman, Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Cognitive Science and Psychology and founding director of the Design Lab at the University of California, San Diego.
Don is well-known for his books, articles, talks and students. He has been an engineer, cognitive scientist, designer, and industry executive (Apple VP and Nielsen Norman group). Here, he discusses his latest book, Design for a Better World and why he started the non-profit Don Norman Design Award program to reward early career practitioners who practice humanity-centred design.

Established in 2022, Design for Good’s founding alliance comprises leading organisations including General Mills, Logitech, McKinsey & Company, Microsoft led by Xbox, Nedbank, Nestlé, PepsiCo, Philips and the Royal College of Art.
Running from January to April 2024, the RCA x Design for Good Academy aims to empower experienced professional designers with the knowledge and skills to create solutions that address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
