Nio enters a narrow segment with its large five-seater SUV, filled to the brim with power and technology.
Nio EL7 is 20 cm shorter than ES8, thus just over 4.9 metres. It is a pure five-seater with 653 horsepower and 850 Nm.
It offers things no one else has.
You can choose to buy just the car and rent batteries. Currently only 75 kW, which gives you up to 391 km of range, and 100 kW, which gives 509.
Later this year, we're to believe the importer, you'll get 150kWh, which will take you 930km, measured by the Chinese SLTC standard. A more realistic range is around 800 km, which is still quite fierce. And instead of hanging around a fast charger, you can ask the car to back into a battery exchange station and drive away a few minutes later.
