Episode 13:
A couple of weeks ago we were fortunate enough to get invited out to Peaks Island to make pizza with Ben Wexler-Waite, owner and pizzaiolo at Il Leone, a 100% naturally leavened, wood-fired, Neapolitan pizzeria. While Il Leone's giant Italian oven was locked away for the winter, Ben gave us quite the sneak peek with his more minor, yet plenty formidable Ooni Pro oven. The pizza was incredible and the views were stunning, leaving us pretty damn excited to get back out there this summer!
Il Leone re-opens for the summer in May on Peaks Island, just a quick ferry ride from Portland (the boat ride alone makes the trip worth it). For more info check out Il Leone's website: [ Ссылка ] and follow them on Instagram @illeonepeaks
