Probably produced to replace the previous 1972 film "Infantry Combat", this new piece of footage, dated 1985, highlights the importance of the role of Swiss infantrymen in the context of conventional mechanized warfare.
In comparison to the previous film, this one highlights the use of new weaponry (notably the BB77 "Dragon" ATGM), and places more emphasis on the importance of combat preparation and readiness.
As usual, the production value is excellent and although the delivery is dry, it provides extremely valuable historical insight on the Swiss defensive doctrine.
