Duquesne University's Mic Drop A Cappella was founded by Blake Mechtel in December 2016 so Duquesne students could have the opportunity to come together to practice, perform, and share a wonderfully unique form of music on campus and throughout the Pittsburgh area. Now into its third academic year, Mic Drop has 16 student-singers of various majors who arrange and perform music from various genres.
