Shoheijuku Aikido Canada
Shoheijuku Aikido Canada was established to promote the art of Aikido as practiced by Morito Suganama Sensei (Aikikai 8th Dan), who is based in Fukuoka, Japan. They offer Aikido classes to all levels of students, including for children. Their main dojo is located at Trout Lake Community Center in East Vancouver. They have a second dojo in Surrey, and another on the Sunshine Coast in Roberts Creek.
Their demonstration will begin with a short warm up, led by our Sensei Tamami Nakashimada 6th Dan. to protect oneself.

The demonstration will begin with a short warm-up under the guidance of Tamami Nakashimada, 6th Dan. She then demonstrates various techniques such as striking, grabbing, catching and throwing, as well as advanced techniques such as how to roll, how to unlock weapons, and how to defend yourself.
