Andrew Zemek has been working for CPM Group since 2018, covering speciality metals, with a particular focus on manganese. He leads the bespoke research on manganese use in batteries for CPM’s clients. Andrew has over 35 years of practical experience in the metals and mining industry, having been in an executive, non-executive, and consulting roles in exploration, mining, and processing companies in commodities such as copper, silver and gold, lead and zinc, tantalum and molybdenum. In the past, he was a contributor to the Mining Journal and worked with international and governmental organisations such as UNCTAD, UNEP, US DoE, and others. He is based in London, UK.
