Paralympian Deepa Malik on NDTV Banega Swasth India Facebook Live session said that she always preaches that one should try and hold on one skill and become an expert of it. She added, "I chose to do an adventure sport, I empowered my skills and in return I gave medals to the country. Medals made policies and through those policies I got a job, which made me self-reliant. Similarly, it is very important for everyone with disability to discover their own potential and ability. One needs to sharpen their skills and then become a contributor to any organisation and come with an ability on the table."
