🤩 Meet Police Community Support Officer Richmond – he’s been in the role for three-and-a-half years and earlier this year was named Hertfordshire PCSO Of The Year 👏
A former security officer, he joined the constabulary to contribute to the reduction of crime and to help give the community confidence in the police by making it more representative.
Richmond enjoys his role to engage with the public giving words of advice and reassurance and helping in any way he can.
Asked what makes him want to come to work each day, he says talking to people and helping to solve crimes reported to the police.
He would recommend becoming a PCSO to contribute to making the community a safe place, building trust and creating a safer place for the next generation.
