The Carer Cam strikes! 🍃🐘 as Timisa shows off some serious leg tricks, breaking well-rooted branches for munching on, and playful little sister, Khanyisa is right beside her to support and join in the fun!
Khanyisa is no doubt watching Timisa the Tiny Tusker Trickster and learning these ingenious elephant skills where every part of the elephant body plays a function in their daily lives. But Khanyisa also just likes to have fun beside the elephant closest to her size, fellow orphan and now herd mate, Timisa ☀️
We love watching these precious moments of the youngest elephants in the rescued herd enjoying themselves and bonding in different ways with one another.
Our Carers walk with the herd all day, from sunrise to set, giving them great opportunities to capture the sweetest almost-missed moments. The team don’t always have the best phone camera with them but we’re grateful for all their videos and photos sent from the field!
