Length of an IVF procedure varies depending upon the protocols which we use. The shortest protocol can be done around 10 days of time and the longest one ranges about 5 weeks of duration and that answers the first question. The second question, the number of embryos which will be transferred is dependent on the number which we have obtained, if not got in the end and I prefer to transfer one embryo, which is also dependent on risk factors and if need be, I will consider transferring 2 embryos, and if we have surplus amount of embryos, we will freeze them for future use.
