PRINCESS SPENDS FIRST NIGHT AT KENSINGTON PALACE
Well-wishers gathered on Sunday outside Kensington Palace to welcome the latest addition to Britain's Royal Family.
A pink balloon fluttered from the gates of the palace, where Kate and William were resting after the birth of a baby daughter.
They returned to the palace from hospital late on Saturday, some 12 hours after Kate went into labour.
Other members of the royal and Middleton families were expected to visit the new princess.
The arrival of the royal baby dominated Sunday's newspapers in Britain.
Meanwhile workers and technicians were clearing up the debris left by the media stakeout outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital, where the baby was born.
