Now defunct but a force live in their day, Christchurch's LUC rocked!
An indicator of how small NZ is - Simon Paris, the guy holding the camera in the first frame of the video - his sister Anna Paris, a few years later married Simon Maclaren, the LUC Singer. Anna Paris's dad - used to teach me and my brother Paul in highschool - my brother Paul allegedly shagged a girl called Kay - who had also allegedly shagged Simon LUC - Kay was also highschool best mates with Boh Runga - who had a long time relationship with Andrew Maclaren - Simons brother..I went to school with Pearl Runga, Boh's sister..who in turn is now in a relationship with Justin Maclaren - Simon LUC's other brother.
And to top it all off - jason Young, the LUC Drumer, Is now the sound man for Liam Finn, who I have just made a few clips for..
Small town country huh??
